Silent Auction

Artist Kathryn Jones enjoys expressing her creativity through both landscape and abstract paintings. In Abstract, she uses bold colors and flowing forms to create a vibrant, energetic composition that invites personal interpretation. Kathryn's work is featured in a variety of local venues throughout Longview, Henderson, Tatum, and Marshall, where she continues to share her passion for art with the East Texas community.

Known as the "Big Cat Lady,"  Cathy Rachesky is celebrated for her powerful portrayals of majestic felines. A naturally gifted artist who studied with world-renowned artists, she creates oil and acrylic paintings, sculptures, charcoal renderings, and unique prints. Cathy believes, "Cats are so majestic and regal—they are intense. If you capture the eyes, you capture the cat's overall intensity," a philosophy beautifully reflected in this striking tiger portrait.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Maureen Shallcross creates beautiful landscape paintings in oils, working in both contemporary and realism styles. In Early Snow, she captures the quiet beauty of a peaceful winter morning, where soft light and the season's first snowfall create a tranquil natural setting. Maureen regularly exhibits her work at local art shows and community events, where her landscapes continue to delight collectors and nature lovers alike.

East Texas artist Charles Arnold embraces diversity in his work, exploring unusual and nontraditional materials and techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces. His current focus is excavation painting, a process in which he builds multiple layers of paint and then meticulously carves through them using woodcarving tools. The result is a richly textured work of art that reveals intricate patterns, vibrant color, and exceptional craftsmanship.
